Episode 202: Salute to John Lodge and Bobby Whitlock and much more

And it's another Tales Vinyl Tells. I hope your Thanksgiving was good and that you got what you needed and maybe even what you deserve which could be goodness. There was lots of food in my house and seems like holidays are pretty stressful for me and I assume that's a childhood trauma that needs to be worked out. But we're between holidays now and if you're hearing this episode in December of 2025, it's a brand-new episode of tales vinyl tells. I’m Brian Hallgren and this is our plunge into those great old rock'n'roll albums from the 60s and 70s and if you've listened to any of these podcasts and radio programs, You will know that I color outside of the lines so you might hear something from the 50s or the 40s or the 30s and you might hear something from the 80s or the twenty 20s. Just think, on today's Tales Vinyl Tells, you might hear salutes to: John lodge- Bobby Whitlock, a great tune from Billy Joe royal, Procol Harum, Spheeris long way down, John Renbourn, Batdorf Rodney, America, Free, Jesse Winchester, Eagles, Spencer Davis, War on Drugs and more or less.  So, let’s get ‘em spinning first on TT 1, Jimmie Spheeris.  I’m glad you’re listening today.  If you want to email me, I am talesvinyltells@gmail.com.
